Committed to expanding and adapting to ever changing environments, OPAL Services, is seeking to recruit additional Trustees to join the team. Providing support to older people and carers in rural communities across Cheshire West, OPAL prides itself on being a dynamic charity, winning the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Services in 2020.
Adapting and broadening reach is key to the strategic development plan for OPAL and despite the difficult environment COVID-19 has brought, the charity has continued to increase its service provision.
To become an OPAL Trustee you do not have to have previous Trustee experience, although that would be ideal.
We encourage applications from all sections of the community as we aim to increase the diversity of our Board. You must have a connection or interest in what we do as a Charity.
Offering flexibility in trustee posts with remote working and the opportunity to contribute as often as you choose, why not find out about how you can help make a real difference in your community?
Part-time hours: approx 4-20 per week. As volunteers, we recognise that some trustees will be unable to commit as much time as others.
