GoOnLine

GoOnLine is a drop-in service which helps older people  in rural areas, including OPAL Club members, learn how to access the internet with the one-to-one support of volunteers. The service aims to foster use of the internet to pursue peoples’ personal interests.

The sessions are run in sociable settings in local venues.

Our GoOnLine drop-in sessions will be held in the following venues:

Ashton Hayes: Library in the Parish Rooms, West End, Ashton Hayes CH3 8AB

The service runs weekly on Wednesdays from 10 am to 12 midday in conjunction with Ashton Timebank.

Farndon: Lewis’ of Farndon Coffee Shop, High Street, Farndon CH3 6PU.

The service runs on Thursdays and the sessions run from 9.30 am to 11.30 am. The next session will take place on March 5th.

Frodsham: The Queen’s Head, 92 Main Street, WA6 7AR

The service runs on Mondays and the sessions run from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm. The next sessions will take place on  February 10th; March 9th.

Frodsham: The King’s Church, Chester Road, Frodsham, WA6 6XR.

The service runs on Wednesdays and the sessions run from 1.30 pm to 15.30 pm. The next sessions will take place on February 26th; March 25th.

Malpas: The Young Person’s Centre, 1 Chester Road, SY14 8HT

The service runs on Thursday’s from 10.30am -12.30pm. The next sessions will take place on February 20th, March 19th.

Oakmere: The Lounge, Chester Road CW8 2HB.

SESSIONS ARE CURRENTLY SUSPENDED DUE TO VENUE CLOSURE.

Tarporley Garden Centre: Tarporley Road, Cotebrook, CW6 9EE

Tuesday sessions run 10 am to 12 mid-day. The next Tuesday sessions will take place on February 18th and March 3rd, 17th & 31st

Thursday sessions run 10 am to 12 mid-day. The next Thursday sessions will take place on February 13th & 27th and March 12th & 26th

Tattenhall: Alison’s Country Kitchen, Jupiter House, High Street, Tattenhall, CH3 9PX

The service runs on Mondays and the sessions run from 9.30 am to 11.30 am. The next session will take place on  February 17th; March 2nd, 16th & 30th
